Thelma Thomas And Edwina Troutt Mckenzie - Survivors Of The Titanic.
Thelma Thomas was a young woman at age 16 when the Titanic sank and she was pulled into a boat. At the same time of being taken away, she was separated from her baby. Thelma Thomas was frantic without her child. Once she left from the Titanic and into the cold ocean water she ended up at a hospital in New York. Edwina Troutt McKenzie was the woman who had been given the baby of Thelma Thomas, it was Edwina who had brought the baby back to the hospital. Edwina Troutt McKenzie was on the "Today show" discussing her story of her Titanic experience. On the "Today Show", she explained how she was handed a baby in the life boat, and described the blanket the baby was in. Thelma Thomas was told about this lady. They wrote letters to one another, and Thelma Thomas found out that it was in fact Edwina Troutt McKenzie who had saved her baby and brought it back safely from the sinking ship of the Titanic.
